The success of the first event made the decision easy: DataBeers Exeter was here to stay. Working again with our friends at Cuckoo Tap Room, we brought together another fantastic lineup. The event is always free to attend, and demand was such that every place was taken, with 60 or more people joining us for the evening.

Since joining the University of Exeter, Federico and Ronaldo had long discussed bringing DataBeers to the city. The idea gained momentum but the pandemic put everything on hold. The belief that data science is a skill for everyone never faded though, and eventually the right time, location, format, and speakers all came together for our inaugural event.
